What are “notarized copies”?

A notarized copy is a photocopy of an original document that has been certified as a true copy of the original. UoPeople requires that all copies of education credentials and their translations bear original notary stamps and signatures.

Notary stamps can be issued by a notary public or by the institution who administered the document. Government institutions, courthouses, and attorneys frequently offer notary services. All submitted documents become the property of University of the People, and cannot be returned.
