What happens if my English is not very good?

UoPoeple is currently taught in English and therefore requires a minimum level of English in order to be admitted. For those students who may need some extra help in English, we offer an English preperatory course, before beginning as a UoPeople degree student. You must first complete your admission application, before you are able to register for this course.

English Requirements;

If you are a non-native English speaker, or you graduated from an institution where English was not the primary language of instruction, please see which English proficiency documents you may submit to be considered for admission to an undergraduate program here: http://www.uopeople.edu/files/Pdf/english_proficiency_qualifications.pdf

There is another option available if you are unable to send an English Proficiency document and we will still consider your application. If you are admitted to UoPeople, you will become a "non-degree special" student, which means you will need complete either ENGL 0101 English Composition 1 or equivalent course as determined by the University, in order to proceed to your desired undergraduate program.
